The Weighted Companion Cube is a pseudo-character that appeared in one of the many memorable levels in Valve's first-person puzzle game, Portal. The Weighted Companion Cube is a well known meme among most gamers on the internet.

Despite being similar in most respects to other puzzle-solving cubes in the game, GLaDOS introduced a personalized version of the cube in the beginning of the 17th level, with pink-coloured heart decals on each face, and the player was told to take care of it throughout the level.

While being in every way an inanimate object, the Cube is widely considered to be a character due to the charming way it was presented in the game, and the emotional attachment the player builds towards it by the end of the level. This was also helped by GLaDOS's constant reminders to the player that the Cube is not alive, which actually does the opposite, making the player see it as little more than a simple cube.

This is the mascot of a group of streamers on Twitch called Ludophiles. For some reason the phrase "worship the lovestick" is used during their stream, so I thought I'd build one. It is modeled after an old school joystick, with a big heart as the actual stick.

Well, what can you say, it is a traffic cone, it is orange and white and people use it to redirect or stop traffic, use it as a horn, or wear it on their heads.

Sometimes you just want to get away from all the construction work and do something fun, well this was made during one of those times. These LEGO figurines have some challenges to model in Revit, for example the arms and hands gave me some headaches. All the colors are changeable with materials.

We all know and love these little bricks and I know I played with them a lot when I was a kid. So, I decided to play with them again now that I'm a grown up. Modeled the brick in Revit with all the parameters. This 1 little brick has all the 'regular' bricks in it, from the 1x1 plate to the 2x12 brick and you can set the color by material too of course. The types that are in this family have the model number from LEGO as an assembly code parameter and the price from the LEGO website as a cost parameter

The brick is modeled at a 10:1 scale because otherwise the Revit restrictions would come into play.

The evoluation of the cocktail glass for 'The Engineers Guide to Drinks - Revit Edition' project.

I was triggered by a tweet from Autodesk mentioning the The Engineers Guide to Drinks in AutoCAD made by Shaan Hurley a while back. Thought it would be an easy little project, but the first glass turned out to be a lot harder then I thought it would be. This project or even this glass is not done yet, so stay tuned for updated files.

From the last version (v1.0) there have been some changes, added the fruits and changed the parameters a bit. Also made the liquids into nested families with shared parameters so I was able to tag the liquids and get both material and volume.

Use this to change all the Sheet Names to title case according to company standards.

Ever wanted to remove all the revisions from your sheets and change the Sheet Issue Date to today. Well it is a pain in the butt, but this script automates that.
This does not work if your revisions are set with revision clouds.

Ever wanted to be able to schedule your families by the fact if they are mirrored or not? Well with OOTB Revit you can not do that. This script help you set a Yes/No parameter after checking if a Family is mirrored or not, so you can schedule that. Works great for a Window and Door schedule!

Make sure you have a Shared Yes/No Parameter called Mirrored in your family (or some other name, just change the value in the script). Once all your families are placed run the script and the parameter will be set.

This script requires the Bakery package to run.
